It's been a crazy busy October for the team, with back to back events starting out in Atlanta for the 2019 National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Show which was massive!
This was our first year attending the show. This year's theme was the importance of developing critical expertise in the key areas of food service and safety, technology, and leadership in operations - which is right in our wheelhouse!
We exhibited throughout the event, managed to check out some of the sessions, and also snap a few pictures. Here's a few highlights:
Changing consumer preferences and the desire for more frictionless buying experiences is impacting the competitive landscape for retailers. NACS Chairman Frank Gleeson spoke on the importance of innovation, flexibility, sustainability, and leadership for the convenience store industry to continue to grow and thrive.
The number of equipment, technology and services vendors in the expo was impressive - but I'd say we enjoyed the food and beverage vendors the most. Shane was caught here "Messin with Sasquatch".
To everyone who stopped by our booth for a chat and exchange of information, thank you! We look forward to continuing the conversation.
See you all soon!
